The lights are well made and very bright. The casing and the spikes are made of metal and are very durable. The lights can be used with the spikes and inserted into the ground, or can be used without and be wall mounted. The lights do not come with a plug, they will need wiring to your home electrics, so you may need additional wire, a transformer and a bit of knowledge. It is relatively straight forward and the instructions are clear. The lights do come with the wire connectors that will make the circuit waterproof.
