I decided to bite the bullet and open her up and switch out the fans with these. These fans work perfectly! They even come with a little screwdriver and thermal paste spreader/remover which really helped get the puzzlingly large blobs of factory paste out. So far the fans have been practically silent! I only wish I’d bought these and replaced them sooner.
