When our horses or cows needed a good scratch they'd back up against a fence post and commence to gyratin', which was fine until one of them gyrated just a tad too aggressively and pushed over the post. That was an invitation to all our other farmland critters to escape the confines of the pasture and go a wanderin' over to the neighbor's place to pay a social call and sample whatever crop he'd planted that year.Ever try to herd a gaggle of uncooperative goats out of your neighbor's cornfield at 2 a.m. with your old man tearing you a new one the whole time about how if you'd done your chores right and trimmed all the milk thistles out from under the electric fence, like you were supposed to have done, the critters wouldn't have gone anywhere near that fence post? Here's a spoiler for you; it's surprisingly more difficult and a lot less glamorous than you might suppose. Oh sure, I know what you're thinking out there; "But Jasper, goat herding is the career I've longed for since I was old enough to drink beer from my tippy-cup!" While you might think goat herding will make you the envy of all your friends and acquaintances, trust me on this one, just say "No!" to goats and buy this back scratcher..Use it on yourself, your spouse, your kids... I actually haven't had a back scratcher since I was a kid. This is big but easy to hold. I really like how it's curved. You can reach areas of your back you can't normally reach from a regular back scratcher. The curve of it also helps you to apply more pressure on those areas. I really like it! I do wish the ends of it were sharper though.
