It's just " a tad too shallow" ???** A: I'm not positive on that, sorry. All I can tell you is when I put my Sennheiser hd650 in the case, they fit with the cable attached but you would have to bend it sharply which is the reason I returned the case. I don't want the cable bent that tightly nor did I want to have to remove the cable everytime I put them in the case causing un-necessary wear on the cans. Too bad to as it was a great case for the price. -Todd **Q: Can I remove the Foam so I can fit my headphone?** A: It’s made to securely hold the headphones listed and a small DAC. Removing the foam makes the expense of buying a custom case that fits specific models a moot point. May as well just put a strap on a cardboard box. **Q: Does this case fit the Focal Elear? Thanks!** A: I own a Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition and headphones fits perfectly in to this case.
