A: I don’t know what dot ase is. I have had the light assembly installed in my car for about 6 month now and it works just like the original one. I would buy it again.

A: The best thing is to call the seller and find out. These headlamps have different capabilities and are not all the same.

This light did not have the same capabilities as the other BMW headlight on my car. This was not mentioned in the description. Very misleading. Had to ship back...expensive. However, I was reimbursed and refunded quickly.

I bought this headlamp because one of my BMW headlamps had a lot of condensation that would not come off. This headlight arrived on time, was as described by the sellers and I was able to install it myself. So far, no problems with lamps, I saved a lot of money buying and installing it myself instead of going to BMW dealership. I highly recommend it for someone with a BMW 525i, enough said!
