Not sure I have actually smelled it closely, but the strings don't have any particular and significant smell. **Q: Is the black as slick as the natural?** A: Yes. I think it slips a bit more. It does wear off faster than the natural and when you hit the tennis ball you will notice black marks that match strings. (Ho dovuto comprarla perchè il mio circolo del tennis dove abitualmente faccio cordare le mie racchette ne era rimasto sprovvisto). Con questa corda faccio caricare 19 kg per ottenere una sorta di effetto fionda che mi consente di avere un impatto della palla particolarmente morbido. L'effetto fionda mi consente poi di rinviare la palla con un movimento fluido e senza traumi. Il segreto però sta nell'accompagnare la palla invece di semplicemente colpirla. Se riesco ad accompagnarla (non sempre ce la faccio) ogni volta che colpisco la palla è un piacere che con altri tipi di corda non riesco a sentire. L'unico neo è il costo. Al mio circolo pago circa 15 euro comprensivi del costo della corda e della mano d'opera.
