Instructions in English, French and Spanish on the packet. Very simple to use. I used it to get more wear out of a linen garment that was going thin in places, by adding a patch (thin cloth) inside the garment using this bonding material. (I had tried iron-on interfacing first, but the product I bought completely does not work, so this is Plan B to get another season's wear out of a beloved garment.) My packet arrived with a 10-cm slash through the front of the package, meaning the slash went through two layers of the folded product. On examining the packaging, I can see that somewhere in the mailing process, someone slashed the entire envelope the package came in and then taped over the slash. I have no idea who did that; could have been the Post Office in my country, so I didn't return the product. The product is folded in the package; I had no difficulty tracing the shape I needed, cutting it out, and ironing it flat. It worked - ironed down - perfectly well even with the slash in the product. No problems. There is an adhesive on the back for a no-sew option but the material is thin enough to sew through. Thank you for contacting us. **Q: will it damage nylon fabric?** A: I honestly don't think it will work. The iron needs to be dry with no steam and HOT. I think it will damage nylon. **Q: I have a 2 inch rip on the side of my fabric couch. Can I use this to repair it?** A: I honestly think it wouldn't work because you need a hard surface under the rip for your hot iron to glide over the fabric. The heat n bond needs to be placed on the inside or wrong side of the fabric. If you could figure out how to iron it on to the wrong side of the ripped couch fabric, it would only bond the frayededges of the fabric side by side.
