The Velcro rips the fabric on the sides to shreds and without a tall enough knife it does the same thing to the bottom of the sheath. I almost lost my leatherman wave to a thread bare bottom. I suggest going with the leather sheath over this, it lasts much longer and fits the knife much better. This sheath is one of the worst things I have purchased overall in both lifetime of the item as well as how well it performs its task. **Q: What are the dimensions of this item?** A: It measures 5" H x 1.75" W x 1.00" Deep.
