I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. There was a lot of detail about a supernatural system and the people who worked within it as well as a love story. The author was able to tie all this together in a cohesive way. It does seem like the ending came out of nowhere without many clues about the resolution before. It just kind of jumped out there on the page in the last chapter. That's a little jarring. It was well-edited and easy to read. I probably found only two typographical errors and they were minor. I hope to read more from this author.
