The combination with the transmitter makes diving both from a safety but also logging perspective a "joy". The Shearwater app makes it incredibly easy to sync the watch alongside the transmitter data into your digital logbook for further use and analysis. The computer itself is very intuitive as it relates to setup and usage. The display is easy to read and organize as well as very bright under water so not issues looking at all your dive data even while in the deep or rather darker caves etc. Switching between different gas mixes is equally easy done. In addition personally prefer the rather conservative algorithm calculating NDL etc. while diving. The computer also allows easy pairing with two transmitters at the same time which is a major upside when heading to more challenging dives with you buddy.
