These crimpers are only good down to 20awg terminals. **Q: Does it crimp pico clasp 28awg to 32awg?** A: yes for smal cables is fine **Q: Can the Built-in contact positioner be removed?** A: If you mean the crimping dies, they are removable but no optional dies are available. Great majority of the connectors I am moving to are PH2.0 type. The crimper works perfect as long as you use the proper gauge wire, and proper sized sheathing.
