Thank you. What's the different between two of them? It's hard to tell from the website.** A: You can use either one; the only difference is the oval concave shape on the elite. The original is more flat. It is best to use on wet curly hair. I find that if you use it on dry curly hair, it will make the curls frizzy, unless you use some curl product. I hope this information helps. **Q: Have you noticed any damage to hair after using. ie...more split ends, mid shaft splits, end breakage?** A: No not at all! However, I have curly wild hair. I started using in instyler the same time i started using that brush so my hair is better than ever! The brush is AMAZING! I used to dread brushing out my hair now it takes me only a few minutes! **Q: is that good for thin hair** A: YES! It has been the only thing that has worked on my hair. I have long fine hair. **Q: Is it waterproof? As in, would it be okay if it were submerged in water? Some of the pictures look like there is a crack in which water could seep in** A: I assumed it was waterproof as it didn't come with instructions. I was unable to pull it apart. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressed! *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 March 2022* I'm a little paranoid when it comes to my hair which is thinning but very long so I'm as gentle to it as I can be. I only wash it once a week, never use heat tools, sleep with a satin bonnet/head scarf and using several different hair brushes including some that were quite expensive. My hair tangles so easily, I can brush one side of the hair switch to do the other but already the first half is tangle just from moving it. I've had a tangle tweezer in the past as I bout the original one when it VERY first came out. I enjoyed the original however I found the bristles bent fairly quickly. My biggest issue was that it would constantly fly out of my hand especially as my hair is so long and it drove me mad. So much so that I stopped using it and moved onto other brushes. However when this one, the elite, was reccomended to me I thought I'd give a tangle teezer a second chance and I am so glad I did. In the hand it feels like it is so much sturdier and a higher quality and the rounded shape fit into the hand so much better than the original and hugs the curve pf your head too which really helps for giving a scalp stimulating massage which by the way this brush is AMAZING for. The bristles are rounded and not at all scratchy which means it doesn't irritate my scabby patches of psoriasis that are dotted around here and there. One of the things I love about tangle teezer style brushes is that they're so much easier to clean. One of my other brushes is use (that i LOVE and highly reccomend; the cantu detangling bristle brush for thick hair) is a nightmare to clean. Because I have 2 cats, one of which is a very floofy Ragdoll I get so much fluff and fuzz in my hair and that quickly builds up on my brushes even though I remove hair from my brushes every time I use them. It takes forever to pick out the fuzz from the bristles. With this tangle teezer however it is so much easier because of it being plastic it is so simple and quick to clean I just run it under the tap with a small amount of shampoo and use a soft tooth brush to thoroughly clean between bristles and then simply rinse. Done in 30seconds. It gently detangles my knotty hair and the amount of hair I lose when I brush is so much less than any other brush I use and that makes a big difference to me as my hair falls easily due to lupus and pcos. I have thick curly afro type 4C hair, and I used this pre, during and post hair wash. Managed to de-tangle my hair in a fraction on the usual time. On dry hair would reccomend using a leave in conditioner first and brush in sections. I did mine in 4 sections! Holds really nicely in the hand and mine are small. The ergonomic design made it easy to brush from ends of hair to roots. Minimal hair shedding and I usually shed a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the best for thicker hair *by Y***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2022* I've very late to the Tangle Teezer party as I've never used one before, but I didn't realise that the bristles are a lot softer (more flexible) that a normal hairbrush. It's comfortable to hold and comes in a sleek black finish.Did it get rid of my knots with no pulling or pain? Yes, but as I have thicker hair it doesn't get through all of the hair to the roots because the bristles have more give in them as they are softer.
