I thought from the picture it was bent wire but it's actually casted-- that said the casting job is perfect and clean, which is great because most casted jewelry I've bought on desertcart is sloppy and looks much worse than the picture. This pendant looks exactly as pictured, maybe very slightly darker but still great and a fantastic buy for the price, and looks like it cost significantly more than it does. Sure, maybe the chain isn't amazing but it's really not nearly as bad as some reviewers are saying, plus it's good and long which I really like, and it even has an adjustable length part-- plus for this price what do you expect, a Tiffany chain? I'm just thrilled the pendant looks so good, I can easily put it on a different chain if I need to, but I personally like the chain. I'm so very happy with this purchase and I'd make it a hundred times over, it's probably one of my favorite desertcart buys. Can't believe how many compliments it gets!
