A guideline for cutting 3mm plastic is 2kg or less of force compared to 3.5kg-10kg for general nippers. Please only use these nippers for cutting plastic (PS resin, PP resin, ABS resin, and PE resin) 3mm and less. However, transparent/translucent PS resin is very hard and is not recommended to cut more than 1mm. I received my pair today and I instantly noticed that the tips were kinda nubby. Is this normal?** A: The newer generation of God hand nippers had the tips shortened to make the less prone to breaking. Older God hand nippers had an issue with the tip snapping when going into plastic **Q: What is the point of that little hook on the side that they have circled in one of their graphics?** A: Green is the spring (obv) the pink is the restrictor it keeps you from closing it too far. and the blue circle is to keep it from opening too wide.
