One of its biggest advantages for me is its long open time, which allows for careful positioning and readjustment before the glue sets. This feature makes it particularly suitable for delicate or precise woodworking tasks where alignment is crucial. It also has good creep resistance, meaning the bond remains stable over time, and it sands well without affecting finishes. The ability to remove it with moisture is an essential feature for restoration work, ensuring that joints can be taken apart if necessary in the future. 🪑 I used this glue to reattach a pickguard to an old guitar, where the wooden surface was uneven due to age. The ability to reposition the piece before the glue set was a key factor in choosing this product. I applied the glue to both surfaces and positioned the pickguard under a clamping caul, then applied pressure with clamps.
