Then I tried the WonderBat system with the square inserts. Wow, very nice. They seem to sit more solidly on the bat pins, and hold your clay in place, as they should.I was recently throwing with around 14 lbs of clay on one of the plastic bats after using the WonderBat system, and the difference became more obvious. For some reason, the plastic bats rarely sit well on the pins once you get going, and often have a 'knock' to them.That night, I ordered a couple of the larger WonderBats, and find them to be so much more invisible during use. They sit more solidly on the bat pins, and the clay sticks to them as it should.One thought regarding usage, I find it helpful to sponge just a little water over the surface before dropping your clay onto the bat. The clay sticks better to the surface this way.Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐ They warp, even though the claim is that they won't *by K***0 on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2018* I initially liked this, as I wanted a bat that wouldn't slip as much as Masonite and this worked. I bought the 1st one in December, and then this second one in January. However, after a few weeks of use they both warped. Now they wobble when I'm trying to throw a pot, and I have to put a shim under one side to get it to stop wobbling.
