## Overview

The Rockford Fosgate DSR1 is an 8-channel interactive signal processor designed specifically to replace factory amplifiers and speakers in Ford and Chrysler vehicles. Featuring the powerful DSP from the acclaimed 3Sixty.3, it offers 245 bands of equalization, adjustable crossovers, and up to 10ms delay for precise tuning. ## Description

The DSR1 is the first real solution for replacing the factory amplifier and speakers in Ford and Chrysler vehicles, as the DSR1 uses the full-range, flat audio signal from the factory source unit. After the built-in Maestro interface is flashed with the vehicle-specific firmware, the factory source unit CANbus messages are used to control the internal signal routing of the DSR1. The DSR1 still utilizes the power processor found in our patented 3Sixty.3, but adds an easy to use app for tuning from Apple and Android devices.

Review: This unit offers lots of customizations based on your vehicle. Allows for total sound adjustments between all speakers as well as adds the Punch EQ boost to the menu. App allows you to configure it via bluetooth with phone but works best on a table as a bigger screen to see everything on. The App also allows for all of the gain adjustments . Very ease to use and configure. The directions were a bit lack luster but there were many videos out there that show you how to do everything with it.

this unit has both Hi and Low level inputs so you will able to run this with your vehicle. Unfortunately there is no harness available however you can install this next to the stock amplifier for clean installation. You can also stream Bluetooth directly for an even better sound and will be a noticeable difference over the stock radio. Ein sehr gutes DSP. Man muss aber wissen, dass es mit dem Einbau eines DSPs nicht getan ist, denn dahinter benötigt es noch eine Endstufe. Das hatte ich selbst beim Studieren der heruntergeladenen Anleitung vor dem Kauf nicht erkannt, weil die Endstufen nur winzig klein angeschrieben waren. Ich dachte, dass das Stecker wären... Grundsätzlich bietet einem dieses DSP fast alles, was man sich als Soundfanatiker wünscht. Einzig eine Dynamikbassmöglichkeit fehlt. Aber es geht natürlich auch ohne, denn man kann mit dem 7 Band „Grund“-Equalizer nachträglich allgemein immer etwas nachregeln und wer möchte, kann diese Einstellungen dann als Presets speichern und bei Bedarf abrufen. Zusätzlich steht einem für jeden Lautsprecher getrennt ein 32 Band Equalizer zur Verfügung, mit dem man so gut, wie jede Frequenz hinein, und herausregeln kann. Besser geht es kaum noch. Aber auch die allgemeine Lautstärke, Bassboost, die Lautstärke die einzelnen Lautsprecher zueinander, der Zeitversatz jedes einzelnen Lautsprechers lassen sich mit der App auf Android aber auch Apple komfortabel regeln. Einziges Manko ist, dass die Reichweite des Bluetooth meiner Erfahrung nach nur ungefähr 30cm beträgt, was heisst, dass man das DSP zwingend in nächster Nähe des Fahrers unterbringen sollte. Bei meinem Skoda Octavia RS, der in der Mitte nur noch das flache Columbus Display mit viel Platz dahinter verbaut hat, konnte das DSP direkt dahinter eingebaut werden, so dass ich grundsätzlich auf dem Fahrersitz sehr guten Empfang habe, wenn ich das iPhone direkt vor das Radio halte.
