Even after normal adjustments, I always had the feeling that my hearing wasn't improved enough to have justified the expense. Then last year on election day I lost my left hearing aid (damn masks). So I went with only one aid for a year. About a month ago the right hearing aid failed, so I started looking for replacements.I considered Miracle Ear and Beltone but the cost was prohibitive. Then I started looking at online hearing aids. I googled digital hearing aids, watched TV commercials and YouTube reviews. Something about the MDHearingAids caught my attention. They seemed to be very professional, had been in business for a long time and just seemed like they would be a good fit for me.I took their online test and based on that they responded that I had medium to severe hearing loss and that they could help. I considered the Volt model but the Core model seemed to me to be a better choice because of its flexibility. I decided to buy the core model and figured that if they didn't help, they had that 90 day return policy so I wouldn't be out anything.I have had the MDHearingAid Core hearing aids for a month now and I could not be happier. I downloaded the app and did the initial setup. It was very easy and straight forward. I don't have a cell phone, so I use my IPAD to make any adjustments. I can now hear better than I have in a decade, especially while watching TV. I'm a big sports fan and I have never been able to hear and understand the sports commentary since I find that using captions for sports is not vey practical. So I just ignored the commentary and assumed that I was not missing much. Now I can actually hear the commentary (I was right, I wasn't really missing anything).I adjusted the Quiet mode to the TV setting and can now hear dialogue without captions. I still struggle sometimes with dialogue in TV shows, but most TV viewing is acceptable without additional adjustment.I wear these hearing aids about 10 hours a day and they are so comfortable that I sometimes forget that I have them on. The battery life is about 7-8 days. I did not need to make any physical adjustments to the comfort tips and tubing. They were perfect for me right out of the box.My conclusion: these hearing aids are better for me than the Starkey hearing aids which cost $7500 in 2011. They are comfortable, nearly invisible and best of all, I can hear again. ### ⭐⭐ Does not allow i Phone to talk via aid *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2021* These are nice hearing aids. I have them about a week. Tried to save money and time with this purchase. Does most things well. It is easy to adjust so I can hear well enough. I had in my old Kirkland 07 the ability to hear phone calls via the aid. The Core MD does not allow this The Bluetooth connection only allows the program to adjust settings and volume. The support staff does good job but these are not Modern hearing aids as they lack 2 features that help a lot. Connecting aid to i Phone and something called a telecoil. As the new Kirkland 10 cost only a few hundreds more, with in person help I may have to return these. ### ⭐ MD Core *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2022* Does not help my hearing at all! Does not pass the Refrigerator Door Alarm test! With wife with good hearing at my side telling me the door alarm is going off I can't hear it with or without the hearing aids!
