So yes it should pass an electrical inspection. **Q: Does this require a fuse inline with the 110VAC? The AC leads would burn up before the breaker would trip it. Suggestions?** A: I'm using mine from a device I plug this into and the device into a wall plug, and then turn it on and off with a wall style switch that is stuck to wall with double sided tape or with a small screw. It has a built in fuse, also when I use this with an extension cord I use one that is meant for Christmas tree lights that also have a built in fuse on the plug. If not using something that provides a fuse on it's own I would recommend adding a in-line 0.75 amp fuse just for safety. Better too much then be sorry later. I've been using this power supply myself for a year or more and never had any problems with it, but still I have it plugged into something that provides a low amperage fuse (2 amp) as compared to a 15 or 20 amp breaker. **Q: Could this be used to power a 12 v booster pump that uses 60 watts?** A: I am using mine to run a 24 watts LED strip.
