This heavy duty cream wax was originally developed for use by electrical power companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions. It's high gloss and lasting protection are their main characteristics. This heavy duty cream wax is easy to use, with it's heavy duty detergent proof formulation is used as a high gloss, protective coating for cars, RV, marine, metal granite tiles or even your shower!. Beatifies while protecting against the adhesion of future surface corrosion caused by UV, salt, dust, precipitation, dirt, bugs and more. Also gives alloy wheels great protection against the corrosive effect of brake dust. Requires minimum rubbing or buffing. Contains no abrasive or cleaner. Clear Coat safe.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it good on a white car?  good on paint without clear coat?**
A: the color of the car doesn’t matter, but I have heard this does an exceptionally nice job on white paint compared to other comparable brands.  As far as no clear coat, it SHOULD be fine, but nothing will do as well as repairing it.  Maybe a silicone based sealer wax, bur I can’t remember if it bonds to paint, clear coat, or both.

**Q: Is is safe to use on the clear plastic headlights on my Accord?**
A: I keep my headlights waxed from new with collonite. Keeping this wax on them protects them just like paint from UV rays. My headlights are 7 years old now (2012 G37 which are bad about yellowing) and they look brand new. It’s actually a great protector for headlights. My car is NOT garage kept.

**Q: Can i first apply/use collinite wax 845 on car then second followed by paint sealant?**
A: You always do a sealant before a wax or else it doesn't work right and negates the usage of the sealant

**Q: Do you suggest using this to help buff out extra fine scratches?**
A: Have not tried to use it in that way. I would suggest headlight restore cream for fine scratches thought .

Uso Collinite 845 Insulator Wax da tempo e posso dire che è una di quelle cere che non passano mai di moda, anzi: più passa il tempo, più capisci perché è diventata storica. La durata è eccezionale: resiste bene a pioggia, sporco e lavaggi, cosa non scontata per una cera che mantiene un’anima così tradizionale. La protezione è reale, non solo estetica. Va scaldata un po’ prima dell’uso (basta acqua calda), ma una volta liquida si stende facilmente e si rimuove senza fatica. Ne basta pochissima: una bottiglia dura una vita.

Einfach genial. Super leicht aufzutragen, unter 1 Stunde fuer ganze Auto, super ergiebig, fuer die A- Klasse nur 2cm aus der bottle verbraucht, Auto ist schwarz und 15 Jahre alt und Lack strahlt wie Spiegel und noch "tieferes" Schwarz. Nach jetzt ueber einem Monat unverändert brillant, abperlend und ohne Widerstand beim Fingerstest. Und bei der Ergiebigkeit relativiert sich der Flaschenpreis schnell, reicht dann fuer 2 bis 3 Jahre. Klarer Tipp von mir!!
