My optometrist warned me that because they sit so far from your eyes they have a limited field of vision and for the same reason give the world the appearance of looking through a fish eye lens. He was right. If you turn your head directly at the object you are focusing on, it is clear and properly proportioned, but if you need to scan or are moving beyond a few miles an hour everything seems to warp. If you stick to groomers and are a conservative skier, they might be good enough, but if you like bumps or going fast, they are not safe. For my purposes they are useless. The flexible tabs on the top and bottom hold the insert in place. The Oakley Ballistics don't seem to have any place for those tabs to push against. I use them for ski goggles. **Q: Will these fit my 100% ATV goggles?** A: It all depends what size your goggle lens area is as these fit inside your goggles . I believe they have two different sizes. Best to call them and ask. **Q: Do these inserts have a tendency to fog? What optometrists will fit lenses to them?** A: I did not had the problem **Q: Has anybody tried these with a paintball mask?** A: No, but they work well in Ski goggles. The plastic springs need to fit snugly to hold them in place, so As long as the lens is about the same and there is a place for the springs to hold tension, they should work fine.
