That old one had a ridiculously ineffective mounting mechanism that just couldn't be fit anywhere. Thankfully I found this one which had a normal mounting bracket that tightened correctly and was large enough to actually go on the handlebars. It was in fact nearly identical otherwise, such that I could use the existing cable without having to add a 2nd cap. I understand that this was meant to be a lockout for front shocks (and why the included cable was so small), but it worked perfectly for my needs anyway. Review: Worth the money ez install - Installed in 8 min. Need 2 metric Allen keys and a pair of wire cutters (I used a set out of my tackle box) scissors wont cut it (pun intended).
