I think this is an excellent tool for its uses, the only negative I have about this product in the weight it adds to your setup. Used it with Canon 70-200 II, and 1DX mk II. It is easy to set up and works well, but in some ways it works too well, as it needs distance to the subject to work optimally. At less than 10 metres, it will be far too bright, even with the flash power turned right down. At this distance, one is better advised to use the illuminating lamp alone. However, at greater than 20 metres, it comes into its own as it is sufficiently focused to work with a pro camera. But it is robust and certainly better than the competition.
