Of course it could be used for various spices and baking ingredients as well. It does come with some stickers but they are all spice names. I wish they had more options or at least some that were blank so you could fill them in. However, that's just minor. Stickers can always be made at home. This keeper is very well made, air tight and having the option to either sprinkle or scoop is fantastic. I do plan on ordered more for spices as well as baking ingredients. They are the perfect size and are also stackable. I think only #2 and #5 are both food safe and safe for reuse.** A: Great question! This designation is about how the product should be recycled, not its food safety. Apparently, higher temperatures can affect the effectiveness, and the silicone ring may start falling out of place.
