The product arrived quickly. The bands are red; I guess (based on the other reviews), this is the only available color. Note that this size is NOT adequate for a conure or a parakeet as listed - it is too small. I ordered the largest size hoping it would fit, but it doesn't, so I need to return it.However, I tried these without attaching them to my birds' legs to see how the product works in case I need to order smaller sizes for a smaller type of bird. The bands lock well and are not prone to unlocking by themselves. If hard to unlock, one can push the little pin with a toothpick, and then it pops up easily. The size is as advertised, 5 mm. The shape, however, is not perfectly circular, so it is important to account for that when ordering for your birds. The numbering is from 1-100, as advertised.While this is a great product, I gave it 4 stars because it didn't fit as advertised.
