Which was my only reason to buy. I have owned many kindles before, and always it ends up by selling it because of the small screen size.For the price I have paid, the inkBook is acceptable for me, the screen size is good, resolution is not wow but it is ok.I believe that the software needs a lot of enhancements and bug fixing, specially for PDF documents. Some times when trying to go the next page, it ends up zooming the current page with a big hassle trying to zoom it out again, which can be fixed by killing the app or restarting the whole device to fix this. Also It would be nice to be able to change the screen orientation from the system menu, since most of the PDF readers depends on the hardware accelerator to set the orientation, which is not a feature of the ink book 8.If inkBook wants to gain market share with its competitive advantage (screen size), they should support their device and continuously enhance the software.H K ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for a grad student's needs *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2016* I've been looking for a reader that will work for reading and annotating scholarly .pdf articles, and this fits the bill perfectly. After installing the firmware update, I downloaded Dropbox (joy of joys, to have Dropbox on an e-reader!) and the Adobe Reader software and they work beautifully. My only complaint is that I wish the Adobe Reader app had an option to manually change the screen's orientation, as this reader lacks the usual orientation sensors -- but that is a limitation of the Adobe software, not one of the device itself.If you're looking for an Android tablet, I'm not sure this is the product for you, but if you've previously been frustrated by the limitations of commonly-available e-readers, this is a godsend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent replacement for the Kindle DX *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2017* I was a long-time Kindle DX owner, and was sad when it finally died on a trip. There was no way I was going back to a 6" screen after the DX's huge screen, so I decided to try the inkBook 8.I was pleasantly surprised by this eReader. I was super skeptical of Android and battery life, but battery life is pretty exceptional if you leave WiFi off. The GUI isn't terribly good, so I installed the Kindle app on it to get something a little better. Performance is acceptable - it's not instant-on like the Kindle DX was, but I don't find it too annoying.
