Bigger than say an advil soft gel?** A: They are ridiculously huge. I almost choked many times. I literally was afraid I could die taking these. They are effective, but I am finding something else because they are way too big. Cutting them in half does not work, as the rough end can then cut your throat on the way down. This is the biggest pill I've ever seen. This is in reference to the 200 mg. I will be trying either the capsules, soft gel or another brand next because these are way too big. **Q: Does this contain any dairy products ?** A: It does not appear to. Ingredient list reveals vegitable sources and coatings but no mention of anything dairy. It does state its manufactured in a GMP facility that does produce items containg dairy, but this particular product does not. **Q: Will it help with constipation...** A: Yes. It works great for me. I have never been "regular" that I can remember. I starting taking 200 mg every night, and I am finally "going" every day, and sometimes multiple times! I do take calcium w/ magnesium in the morning, but apparently that was not quite enough. With this added 200 mg, it seems to be the right amount for me. **Q: At the top says: Serving size 1/4 teaspoon (700mg) but below is says 400 mg per serv. If there are no other ingredients shouldn't those be the same?** A: I cannot explain why it says that and it is definitely confusing. I understood it as 1/4 is a serving and each serving has 400mg. What the 700mg is, I don't know, but it has to mean something. On a separate note, the powder doesn't dissolve well in water so unless you are using disposable cups, the powder can be tough to clean from a glass. I use it as laxative when I need to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by K***D on 16 August 2022* My 10yo daughter has had constipation for about quite a few years. Doctors put her on Miralax. She eats lots of fruits and veggies but still has the issue. After 2 years, we decided to make a change. We've tried Metamucil (made it worse), prunes (worked but the taste was too much for her), and magnesium citrate (worked only briefly but made her too sleepy due to better absorption). We then found out that magnesium oxide has poorer absorption thus does not create too much calming effect and stays in the gut to help generate that desired laxative effect instead. I also noticed that she was overly skinny when she was on Miralax and low in energy. After switching to MgO, her body has gained some healthy amount of weight and energy level is better. We use a sifter to sift slightly over 1/4 tsp of MgO powder to make it less grainy, and dilute it into some oat milk. She then drinks it with a straw while stirring to prevent it from settling onto the bottom. She gets one dose every other day and this keeps her regular. She's been on it for around a year and it's been working great! We told the pediatrician and she was happy with it.
