Used this product for scabies .... yes scabies. Had terrible nighttime itch for 2 months and was not properly diagnosed. I don't care about the issue ... I just wish to have it solved. We did the thermal treatment bc I thought we had bed bugs. Coincidentally, the thermal kills scabies in the home. ( temp over 122 kills mites). The same day as the thermal treatment in the home I decided to take one ivermectin dose as ivermectin is supposed to kill bed bugs ( did the horse ivermectin paste orally and measured by weight on the dispenser) between the thermal and the ivermectin both helped the scabies immensely. I figured out the issue was not bed bugs but scabies and the durvet ivermectin helped so much and so glad that I did not knowing that scabies or mites was the issue. Pest control guy suggested issue was mites so i went to dermatologist and got permethrin and it worked but then the next day I used this sulphur butter and ..... whoa ... this sulphur butter is heaven to my skin. This is a great product. I wish I had order 3 in the beginning bc the dosage to eradicate scabies is use of this 3 days in consecutive after shower. We used almost one container between me and my husband on the first day. Use on scalp too and every inch of your body including under nails on hands and soles of your feet . It is best to leave on 24 hrs for 3 consecutive days. If need to take shower wash off w sulphur soap or neem soap and then reapply so it is on for 24 hrs for 3 days. This should get rid of your scabies. If you are adventurous and have tough scabies case get the ivermectin ( durvet horse paste and take according to weight on the box can use once or once a week for 4 weeks) or see if you can get doctor to prescribe. Anyway this is good stuff if you are a scabies sufferer.Followup - we are not 100 % sure it was scabies but was a mite. Could be rat mite as a dead animal was disclosed as being in the condo that we had recently moved into and the dermatologist swears that scabies cannot be seen and I see dead black dots all over my body and scalp and the floor of the bathroom. Regardless, a mite is a mite. This lotion works to kill mites that bite. Also, vacuum then use cimexa dust in the home, (if you vacuum again then reapply) use a paint brush and lightly paint floors, sofa, mattress and boxspring, bed frame, headboard or carpets lightly and baseboards. You want to painting so light that you can barely see it.Use a mask if you have asthma and wear socks in the house as will slightly dry out your skin. Cimexa is silica and dries out the insect and it very safe to use (no pesticides), go to web site and read if want more info. Remove humidity from the home as much as possible bc mites thrive in humidity (buy damp rid or generic one at Dollar store) I prefer cimexa over diatomaceous earth but both will dry out mites. Cimexa is easier on the vacuum cleaner for removal than Diatomaceous earth and DE clumps when gets wet. If mites are in your hair in the day, you can use a little DE in your hair in the day. In addition to picking up something on my feet that stings, the skin is so dry it cracks. A powder spray from the drug store helped with the first part, but not the second. It works great, has decreased the redness and cleared up some small breakouts and dry patches. This is not a sophisticated chemical blend, it is compounded from natural products and has no added fragrance. The oils in it may be on a list of comedogenic products, but have cleared my skin without causing new problems. It has a slightly gritty texture, this may be the sulfur itself. The oils used are temperature sensitive, so it will be thick when it's cold, and get runny in higher temps. It has a slight smell of sulfur, not obnoxious at all. I used a tiny amount at first to be sure I wasn't sensitive to any of the ingredients, but had no problems. Nice to find a product without added fragrance or fancy stabilizer chemicals, and at a reasonable price.
