She uses our wall shelves to jump up, but was just jumping straight down, scratching the wall in the process.We decided to try this cat shelf as a step for her, so she can use it on her way down. She immediately took to it, and also likes to hang out in the alcove.Product arrived as advertised. All parts were in the box. No warping or other issues that other commenters have mentioned. The problem lies in the items they provide to hang the shelves. The shelf is too heavy to sit on top of the small flimsy brackets. Further, the spacing between the two brackets is just short of the standard beam spacing of a home, making it impossible to drill this into two studs. This caused major issues since my cats are 12lbs and 15lbs and were able to easily rip these off the wall upon jumping on them.Hanging them therefore required major creative adjustments in order to accomodate, making this a lot ugglier lookwise. I also wish both shelves had the whole in the shelf.
