A: I have this case on my Pixel2 XL and use Google Pay at the grocery store several times a week.

**Q: if you set it down face up on a hard surface like a table or car dashboard, does it slide or stay put?**
A: The case will slide a bit but it seems as though it does extend ever so slightly beyond the glass on the front o the phone. It will not prevent sliding if that is what you are looking for.

**Q: suitable for google pixel 2 ?**
A: Not suitable for Pixel 2. For the Pixel 2 XL, absolutely. Fits well and keeps the slim form. Though does not offer much screen protection since there is no screen perimeter bumper.

**Q: Will a pop socket stick to this case?**
A: Yes, it sticks very well on mine.
