I love Timberland boots and shoes, and own and have owned many pairs. Their wide sizes actually fit my very wide feet, (and I have bunions). However this Original Earthkeeper is not a rugged boot. This is a lightweight boot made for light use. I bought them for indoor work, and for that purpose they are perfect. If you want rugged outdoor boots, look elsewhere. These are good looking and comfortable, however as most reviewers stated, they run big. That's fine for me, as I will be wearing them with thick socks. Wesco's these are not, but for a stylish boot you can wear to the office, (if you are lucky enough to work in such a place), or for casual wear around town on weekends in the fall... you can't go wrong.I marvel at people who buy the wrong boot for the wrong purpose and then bash the boot instead of educating themselves on the different types and quality levels of boots out there for purchase. Know what you are buying, know your feet, know the purpose, and buy accordingly. In all reality these are more boot looking high top shoes... but they look so good and feel like slippers, not boots... so I'm happy. Anyway, my two cents... ### ⭐ Poorly put together, falling apart after 2 months *by B***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2018* Shoes look good and are comfortable, but the sole is falling off of the right heel after 2 months of daily (in an office, not a worksite) use. It looks like there was hardly any glue connecting the sole to the tread .It is a shame, the last 3 pairs of boots I have had have been Timberlands, and they were used in a much harder environment, and all lasted until the tread was gone(2-3 years)I did call the customer service, and they told me they would send me new boots, but that I get to have the pleasure of paying for the shipping. I know it will only be a few bucks, but the principal of me having to pay to correct their mistake tells me they dont want my continued long term business. I was told and I quote "that's just our policy," I also have to fill out a warranty claim online, they could not start a claim over the phone.I'll pay the $10/$15 bucks shipping to have these replaced, and I'll never buy another pair of Timberlands again. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Timberland rep. for quality not applicable here *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2019* Tried these on at a store. But no wides sold there. So ordered on line. Pretty sure they are actually timberland boots and not knock offs so imagine my dissatisfaction when I noticed a seem rip on the outside of my left boot. Keep in mind I am especially upset as I have had these for about one week and have only worn them for a few days!!!.On further inspection I found other defects that would have me throwing these out after owning only a few months. The sole on right boot and end points of tongue stitching of left boot are already coming unglued! Additionally the stitching on the big toe knuckle on the right boot is also beginning to frey. I've bought cheap Walmart boots that held up better.I also knew they weren't waterproof buuuut they soak in the slightest bit of moisture! These boots give "moisture wicking" a whole new meaning! These boots are also drafty.I was not expecting insulated boots but I've never had my toes go so cold so quickly... especially on the right! Where incidentally the toe has already caved in and seems like a different material in this spot on the right boot than the left boot... odd huh?I am taking these to Kohl's today. Dropping off the shoes there was a return option. So that is one extra star in their favor! It is a convenient option for me.I hope I didnt throw out the box! I think I did cause I was like "these are Timberlands! I'll never need this box cause these boots will last for years!"
