A: This Chef' sharpener can sharpen your pocket knife for sure. For the broken tip of your knife, It depends on how damaged the tip was. If it was broken badly then I'm afraid the sharpener can not help to regenerate a new tip for the knife but can only sharpen its blade.

**Q: will this sharpener sharpen serrated knives?**
A: Yes, it does - the tungsten carbide slot can sharpen knives with larger teeth. However, we don’t recommend using it on micro-serrated edges.

**Q: How do you use it no instruction? Do you start from 1 to 3 and use all of the slots?**
A: Pass the blade 5 times through each slot in the following order:
1 Coarse
2 Medium
3 Fine
