## Description

Why wait for the perfect weather to have a great gardening day? Meet the AeroGarden Harvest Elite, a stainless steel indoor hydroponic gardening system that grows your favorite plants in water, year round. The Harvest Elite is compact, yet features a spacious grow deck and water bowl so you can grow 6 different vegetables, herbs, and flowers all at once, up to 12 inches tall. This indoor garden produces rapid, abundant harvests thanks to its built-in LED grow light. The high-performance, full spectrum 20W light with an automatic on/off timer mimics natural sunlight to grow plants up to 5x faster than in soil. And to make gardening even easier, the Harvest Elite's touch-sensitive illuminated control panel reminds you when to add water and plant food while vacation mode keeps your plants healthy while you're out of town. The AeroGarden Harvest Elite looks great anywhere, from your kitchen countertop to a shelf in your office space. The garden comes with a 20W LED grow light system, power adapter, one 3 oz. bottle of liquid plant food (located inside seed pod kit), and the Gourmet Herb Seed Pod Kit featuring Genovese Basil, Curly Parsley, Dill, Thyme, Thai Basil, and Mint.

Review: I like the machine and its easy to use, however out of the 6 pods in the starter kit - 4 haven't come up and we are now at day 22!
Review: I'm not new to Aerogardens...ever since my hubby bought me one years ago for my birthday I've been completely hooked. I have a bit of a collection but this was my first of the new model Harvest and I love it. I got it specifically for the new Microgreens kit because I didn't want to tie up a Bounty and the kit wasn't compatible with my other gardens (old models and a Harvest Elite Slim). For context, gardening is not my thing. I'm terrible at it- the only plants I've managed to keep alive are snake plants and even those have come close to dying. My Aerogardens though are a whole different story- it actually makes gardening FUN for me with much less mess than digging in dirt, dealing with pests, animals, etc. If you're just getting started with Aerogardens, this is the perfect size (6 slots) and the stainless finish looks like a fancy kitchen appliance. I love the lighted digital menu making it much easier to read and set than previous models. Keep in mind that this one is not wifi compatible (at least that I can find). You can plant lettuce, herbs, flowers, and now even microgreens. I don't recommend tomatoes or peppers in this garden though- they will quickly overtake it. If that's your thing then definitely look into a Bounty that can accommodate the height and the spread. If you're on the fence about trying Aerogardens or even gifting one, this one is a great choice that will keep going and going. These are especially great for folks who live in areas that they can't have a garden or they may want fresh herbs/veggies that won't grow certain times of year. I have had nearly zero problems with any of my Aerogardens going on several years now. A few tips that seem to work for me: - I'm bad about reading directions but definitely read them if you're not familiar. They will save you a lot of missteps and frustration. - Between starting new gardens, I do a deep clean of everything. Just a handwashing with dish soap and rinsed very, very well. - Keep them watered (but don't overwater). These are hydroponic plants- if they run out of water they seem to die almost instantly and it will be next to impossible to revive (in my experience) - Feed the gardens on the recommended schedule - Keep your plants pruned and under control, this will help them stay healthier, fuller, and contained where they should be in the garden and not causing problems with other plants. - Definitely look into spacers (they're available on desertcart). They're recommended for tomatoes and peppers but I've found them really helpful for large herbs like basil so it has more room to grow. - Replace the filters in the water basins periodically. They last a long time but after a while they degrade, rip, etc. I'm a major Aerogarden devotee and don't think I could (or can) garden any other way. I've grown countless gardens at this point including peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, microgreens, cucumbers, basil, chives, sage, cilantro, oregano, you name it. There is nothing better than your own fresh greens!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: it is working fine (harvesting lettuce after 26 days) but I what do the numbers on each side of the time mean? They change every day.**
A: That is correct (answer below). The number on the left indicates the number of days planted and the number on the right is the number of days until the next time to add Liquid Plant Food.

**Q: Does it have a smaller max growth height than the older model? According to photos it's only 10" (as opposed to 12" for the old model)**
A: The Harvest Elite 2018 has a maximum growth height of 12 inches. The dimension picture will be updated shortly!

**Q: Could I use this to grow strawberries?**
A: While strawberries do best if grown in the Grow Bowl that fits our Ultra and Bounty models, it is possible to grow them in pods using the Harvest and other AeroGarden models. You will need a Grow Anything Seed kit and some strawberry crowns. Cut a slit in your grow sponge to allow the crown to be inserted. Follow the nutrient feeding instructions for tomatoes and peppers. If you have any more questions, then give us a call at 800-476-9669.

**Q: Should i get the harvest or harvest elite?**
A: That depends on how many plants you want.

Las plantas crecen mucho más rápido Se me ocurrió separar las semillas germinales extra y a los 20 días la diferencia es más que notable. Muy feliz y contento con la compra. Lastima que no todos los insumos están disponibles para importar a mi país.
