Up until Dec 2011 he was an only child, so he's pretty good at entertaining himself. He'll get on the floor with his little piles of Lego brickarms & minifigures and have a blast. 2 days ago he asked me for a Lego monster or troll. Yesterday, his troll arrived and so did this Minotaur. I got it as a surprise not knowing whether he'd like it or not cause he didn't ask for it specifically. As soon as I handed it to him he responded "AWESOME! Thanks mom!" Based on that reaction, I'd say this is a good toy. Besides "building" skills and imagination play, I"m not sure what educational value this toy holds, but as far as fun and durable it definitely gets 5stars.
