Perhaps I was sent the wrong size? No instructions. Contractor is experienced in custom tiled showers, so not sure what the hangup was exactly, but the product obviously failed to be usable. The manufacturer immediately emailed me to understand the issue. I explained it and they sent me a new shallow and deep valve. I have a very high flow rate shower and with the shallow valve I get a little backup of water, but it fully drains in less then a minute once I turn off the water.The drain itself is the best looking 1 I saw during my search, especially at the price. The customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this as a drain extender if your tiling over old tile or as a drain for a new shower.
