Since opening these freshner tubs I have not noticed any bad odors from any of the boxes like before. I would say they work very well. It's been 2 weeks so we'll see how long they last. Some reviews thought the fragrance was too strong or itself objectionable. I found it to be light and pleasant. And actually after a day or so don't notice it at all. Fragrance can be an individual thing. There is a very popular perfume that makes me nauseous.
