Review: We were given a paperback collection of “First 100” books, and the trucks book was our son’s favourite from around 14months. When we upgraded to this boardbook, we were happy to see some improvements in the layout and additional vehicle types added. The book is just photos and descriptions (some of the labels I don’t fully agree with), but our son loves pointing at each picture and saying the vehicle type. Largely as a result of this book, some of his first words were ‘car’, ‘truck’, ‘bike’, ‘bus’, ‘tractor’, and (unbelievably) ‘backhoe’… this translates into the real world where he is genuinely excited to see these vehicles while out and about. Although this is really just an organized picture book, it was our son’s favourite book for approximately 5 months.

We were given a paperback collection of “First 100” books, and the trucks book was our son’s favourite from around 14months.
