I had Brooks sneakers before and loved them. They were high quality and comfortable. This pair was worse than Payless sneakers. (I also watched a video on how to spot fake Brooks and these had a lot of the same errors). They feel a bit flimsy. I don't find them as supportive for running but they're good for walking. This is the first time I’ve had trouble with a pair. I’m a nurse and on my feet all day as well as workout in them. With this pair, after only a month of wearing, I started to notice the material breaking down around the back of my ankle and the ties. I have included two photos; one when I first noticed the breakdown and one from this past week. I have not owned these shoes 3 months yet and already they are too uncomfortable to wear anymore. Usually the inserts breakdown long before the shoes structure and material so I am surprised by this pair to say the least. I’m even that person who unties before taking my shoes off. Initially I would have rated this shoe 5 stars on comfort and 5 stars for value.
