As an alternative, you can skip the shampoo and use conditioner on damp hair with a rinse after to clean most if not all of it out. I have thinning hair myself and have found this alternative to work quite well instead of using shampoo every day which strips your hair to some degree. **Q: I have thick wavy medium length hair. Will this work to keep it back?** A: I'm not sure what you mean by "keep it back". What it does for me is gives me lots of body. I have very baby-fine hair, so that's why I use it.
