The installation went quick and the instructions are straightforward. I didnt have any issues connecting the app and setting up codes. Remote locking and unlocking works great. No issues rekeying the lock. I did not link it to alexa or do any geofencing. I keep it locked and don't see a benefit from this. The autolock feature is nice to have. My only small complaint is it seems louder than other times I used a smart lock. I don't have one for a side by side so it might just be me. No need for a tone announcing the unlock and you can clearly hear it. I can't speak for the battery life. If I have to change them once or twice a year that is not a big deal. Happy overall so far. There is a passcode you have to set as a security feature. Wouldn’t want anyone saying “Alexa, unlock the door” and your door unlocking. Not sure I agree, but the theory is that keys on the key pad either get dirty or the numbers show wear. Some people think this may be a security flaw as it can reveal the four keys used in your code. Apparently a thief can try different combinations and may crack your code if they can see which four keys show the most wear. The touchscreen has a way to "hide" finger prints so your code stays more secure.
