This textured case provides a bit more grip without adding excessive heft or profile. It fits the 4a 5G perfectly, slipping over the phone without too much effort and over a week of use, has not shown any tendency to be loose (the phone has not spontaneously popped out of the case). All buttons are accessible and operational, including the swipe up from the bottom of the display screen and print reader. I like the fact that it is double layered with a soft plastic piece inside and against the the phone and an outer harder plastic piece. If I had a wish it would be for the outer surface to be a little more sticky, but that is the nature of being able to drop it into a pocket easily while having enough grip during use.
