Nicely made and works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great addition to the rig! *by A***W on October 23, 2023* Great addition to the camera cage. The picture does not show very well, but the center bolt comes out, and the bottom of the adapter is threaded (standard 1/4 -20). The O-ring on the bottom adds friction so it does not back off. This means it screws right onto a magic arm without issues. Usually put the external mic on top of the camera cage (one adapter there). But if outside, and the weather starts to turn, the rain cover wont work, so ended up using a clamp/magic arm with one more adapter on the end. super easy to clamp right below the camera (off of the tripod), so still can capture better sound, fit the camera weather cover and keep the camera dry. Nicely packaged--the adapter (with an O ring to act like a lock washer and keep it in place), the 1/4 20 bolt and an allen wrench.
