If you cut the slices 1 inch thick you would get 10 slices. **Q: How long and what temperature should the layers be baked?** A: Recipe temp was 350, I cooked at 340. I think each layer took about 10 minutes. The cake I baked was from scratch, so it was a little finicky. The pans were wiped clean, cooled and re-sprayed before being reused. **Q: Was really excited for these cute cakes but they turned out dry! should it be a lower heat? less flour? more egg?** A: You need to turn the heat down in the oven for these pans since they are dark and nonstick. Try using your oven at 325 instead!
