I use Trazom fire starters now instead they light faster and get the fire going **Q: Are the packets plastic? They look like it, I worry about burning plastic.** A: They appear to be.Not sure of composition,though.Very quick, hot burning starters.I use them for both fire and charcoal starters. **Q: Where is this product made?** A: No but it should work **Q: Anyone every use a Ferro Rod to light them? Is it possible?** A: Farro rod would not work with these.. Yes I have used these but I got a different type cause these don’t ignite quickly and I have to use a few at a time. Instead I found TRAZOM fire starters and I usually only use one maybe 2 and they light immediately. They look like mini haystacks. They work fast!! Even on damp logs. So a Farro rod definitely works with the Trazom fire starters.
