This cable now has helped me get rid of my belkin hub and connect my macbook directly to the dell monitor. I spend 1-2 hour testing various things on my monitor with this cable such as sharpness, refresh rate, brightness, ability to turn on as soon my macbook sleeps. This cable is best suited for these factors ie 4k at 60hz and is able to wake up the monitor as soon as I touch mac keyboard. While connected the macbook is continuously charged as well that way I am not running out of battery power. Am glad that the cable works straight out of the box and its worth the money as opposed to the pricey cables on desertcart.
