These are great. The Read Write Inc scheme is a proven phonics method and I've had brilliant results teaching with it for years. I bought this set for a family member with less confidence and he absolutely loves it. The words are all either decodable or marked as 'red' words. This means there are no surprises or moments of getting stuck. The stories are lovely, short and with nice illustrations. He is now telling me excitedly he's going to read 'all ten' 😊
