Package of 29 Ceramic Donut Magnets 1 1/4" diameter x 3/8" ID (inside Hole Diameter) x 3/16" thick Polarized on faces They are uncoated and have a 1 lb pull. A pencil will easily pass through the center hole. Receptive to most adhesives including hot glue, E6000, Goop, Bond 527, Liquid Nails, 2 part epoxies and more Great for refrigerators, office and classroom use. Brand new and factory fresh.

Review: These magnets are great! They are really strong. My pictures show the North to North with me only holding one with 1 finger and I had to press down to control the magnet. I would say be careful when pulling them apart and putting them together. They can pinch you and it does not feel nice. Also, when reversing them (south to south or north to north) the reverse polarity is so strong that it will flip the magnets so they can be together again :) The magnets will distribute a small amount of the black matter onto you hands or whatever it touches if you are not careful. Only some of them do this. However, a little rinse and that problem is solved. They dry very quickly, but, I would suggest that wiping the bottom dry if you plan to just lay them out. I understand that many people know how magnets work. However, there are those who do not the little things so I am just giving the information so those people will know.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will these work for the levitating pencil demo?**
A: If you are referring to where you place them with like poles around a pencil so the magnets look to levitate- definitely.  They break easily but are super strong!!

**Q: Are these magnets axial or radially magnetized ?**
A: These are axial magnets.  And very handy for numerous tasks.  One of the cooler things we did was to use them in my kid's 5th grade science project.  We put 6 of these magnets on a vertical dowel, south facing south, north facing north, so there was a space maintained between each of the magnets.  The space between magnets got smaller as the magnets got closer to the bottom....so the weight of the upper magnets was applied to the lower magnets...without actually touching them.  It was a hit at the fair.

A: POWER FORCE – 2800 Gauss, Grade 5

**Q: Do these rust?**
A: Mine haven't rusted at all. Only exposed to house air. No moisture or outside weather yet. I don't have the magnets in a sealed container.

Strong fingers can't pull them directly apart, you'll need to slide them off one another. Stack them alternately on a pencil and they'll stay an inch apart. These are perfect for explaining magnetism to students.
