I purchased this leather 'paint' to make some Nike shoes look newer for a teenager. It probably took two coats to get the coverage I wanted- I consider the "paint" thick enough and easy to use. It doesn't come with any applicator tip, so I used a small paintbrush that worked well for the intricate work. The product has a slight sheen, which is glossier than the original Nike shoes, so I had to cover it everywhere with at least one coat to make it appear even. The shoes came out pretty good, and my teen is happy. The 4-oz bottle is small, but it goes a long way.
