I had you cut off the 2 tabs on the side to fit into my water cooler. They are difficult to remove once you snap them on. I leave mine on all the time. I even fill my water bottles with them on. They have been on my bottles for over 2 years with no problem. I just wished they made a cap that would go over the top of them. When I fill the bottles, I have to use a baggie with a rubber band to keep the water from splashing out on the way home or not fill it up all the way. Great product. I would have have it 5 stars if i didn’t have to cut the 2 tabs off the side to fit my water cooler. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just Right *by W***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2012* This product was exactly what I hoped it was. I'm able to take my time lifting and placing my 5 gallon water bottle onto it's dispenser stand. It should be noted, your water dispenser must be designed to work with a no spill device or water bottles that already have a no spill mechanism. In my dispenser, a "spike" plunges into the neck of the 5 gallon bottle. With this no spill cap, that spike displaces a plastic ball which is otherwise holding back the flow of water. It is possible to experience some spillage as the plastic ball is sliding in to place, but this is acceptable to me.By using this no spill cap, I am now able to refill the same water bottle at a vending machine (though I have to transport it back home carefully- it isn't sealed.) I can also refill at home with smaller water containers bought at the store, using a funnel. The advantage for me is that I can choose to buy smaller, more manageable containers of water at the store, or I can take the bottle to whatever vending machine I like. I prefer spring water and the delivery service for this type of water in my area is absurdly expensive. All this is preferable, easier, and more cost efficient for me than buying the pre-filled, one use 5 gallon bottles of filtered water sold at my local Walmart and apparently no where else. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Maybe it would have worked better if it had not been under the pressure of ... *by J***D on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2016* Ok basically it fit the primo bottle from walmart(the kind with the built in plastic handle) but it would not fit my water cooler due to these wings on the cap. So with it on my water bottle I took a pair of wire cutters and proceeded to snap off the wings. I made it half way through the first wing when a huge crack in the main unit suddenly appeared. Maybe it would have worked better if it had not been under the pressure of the water bottle because it fit very snugly(i was not worried about it falling off). Still they only sent one so I was out of luck. I might try and order another one some day but I would still have to cut off the wings and I have no idea if it would shatter again. So for now I will be refilling my bottles at the local wal-mart for 6 dollars for 5 gallons(and that is refill price).
