The rated meter is a replacement from Amazon and the second unit works perfectly. I'm very glad I ordered this meter from Amazon. The replacement meter was sent before Amazon received the defective one. Amazon may not always sell everything at the rock bottom price but their return policy and free shipping more than makes up for a small price difference. I'm very happy.

only one complaint...
piched battery wires originally had me mad...but 4 yrs later this insulation tester is taken to the job site and the megger and fluke stay home...the durability is outstanding as long as the terminals are dealt with for the voltage measurements because originally mine were too short

Is working perfectly as described, we test a 3phase 480v motor 40hp for leaking coils, and works perfectly for this type of jobAlso the price good it has its limits but for the prices is a good investment for small jobs.Thanks
